1. Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have graduated from high school or hold an equivalent diploma;
- Have a Grade 12 GPA or Semester 1 GPA of 7.0 or higher (or equivalent converted score if graduated from an alternative high school program);
- Hold a valid English proficiency certificate equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or higher.
2. Application procedure
Applicants must prepare a complete application dossier and submit an English essay based on the topic provided by the Scholarship Committee.
The required documents include:
- KUV Leadership Scholarship Application Form;
- Notarized copy of the High School diploma;
- Notarized copy of the High School transcript;
- Notarized copy of of ID card/Citizen ID or passport (valid for at least 6 months for international students);
- Valid English proficiency certificate (IELTS or equivalent);
- Two (02) 4×6 photos (taken within the last 6 months).
Hard copies must be submitted to: Admissions Office – KUV International Training Center, Hanoi.
Note: Essays with a plagiarism rate exceeding 03% will be disqualified.
3. Scholarship value and validity
- Scholarship amount is based on the application dossier and essay, and may cover up to 30% of tuition for the 39-credit major program.
- Applicable to full-time students only.
- Scholarships are valid for 5 months from the date of announcement. Failure to enroll within this period will result in scholarship forfeiture.
- This scholarship will be reviewed annually based on the renewal conditions outlined in Section 5.
Scholarship does not apply to:
- Repeating courses;
- Additional courses not included in the registered academic program.
4. Number of scholarships
Each intake, up to 300 KUV Leadership Scholarships will be awarded to top-performing applicants.
Note: Students may apply for other scholarship programs such as KUV Elite or KUV Global concurrently. The Scholarship Committee will evaluate and award the most appropriate scholarship based on each applicant’s profile.
5. Scholarship Renewal Policy
This applies to scholarships or financial aid packages that require annual review.
All scholarship/financial aid packages subject to periodic (annual) review will only be considered for renewal if students proactively submit a re-evaluation application within the designated timeline.
The KUV International Training Center in Hanoi has set clear minimum requirements for maintaining awarded scholarships or financial aid. If a student fails to meet any of the listed criteria, the scholarship may be downgraded to a lower tier or fully revoked in cases of poor academic performance or violations of ethical or behavioral standards.
Final results of the review process will be officially communicated via the student’s email.
