The Cheese Fondue KUV workshop involved melting cheese and inviting all the sensations of the cold winter to the campus of Keiser University, Vietnam – Hanoi on December 12. The event, which was based on the Swiss culture, was open to not just KUV students but also to high school students of the Ivy Global School and the Doan Thi Diem High School as they united to make an afternoon to remember the event.

Cheese Fondue KUV was not only a cooking activity, but an experiential learning program, as the students were exposed to the culture of the Swiss people in each part of preparation, each taste, and each interaction with others.

Urs Eberhardt, Regional Director Asia Pacific of Business & Hotel Management School (B.H.M.S.), one of the most renowned Hospitality education institutions in Switzerland led the workshop.

The workshop made international students see the international study pathways in a better perspective, in particular, the 2+2 model when a student studies in Vietnam for 2 years, and then transfers to the United States or other foreign universities for the other 2 years.
This is a good stepping stone experience to the students who are hoping to pursue their studies in the U.S. and develop careers on a long-term basis worldwide.
