Admission Requirements
Students enrolling at KUV must meet the same admission standards as those applying to Keiser University in the USA. This requirement does not consider university entrance exam scores in Vietnam. Additionally, applicants must comply with the regulations outlined in the Vietnamese Education Law. The details are as follows: High school graduate or equivalent (*) with an average grade point average of 6.5/10.0 or higher in grade 12; High school equivalencies recognized by Keiser University include IB, WACE, SACE, GED, and IGCSE. Meet the English entry-level requirements of Keiser University, specifically:
- IELTS 6.0,
- or TOEFL iBT 61,
- or DET 95 (certificates valid for no more than 24 months).
Additionally, applicants may use SAT scores (Reading and Writing 490, Math 480) or ACT scores (Reading 19, English 17, Math 19) (issued within 24 months). (*) Students who do not have the certificates or diplomas listed in sections (2) and (3) can take the entrance exams according to Keiser University’s regulations. (**) Equivalent diplomas recognized by Keiser University’s high school equivalency conversion table include IB, WACE, SACE, GED, and IGCSE, provided that minimum scores for component subjects are met.
Learning Path
Students studying at KUV can flexibly choose a study path that suits their plans. Students can choose one of the following paths:
The 100% study path (full 4 years) of the original American program in Vietnam can be considered the most economical option and is also one of the two paths most chosen by KUV students because they will receive the same degree and transcript as studying directly at Keiser University in Florida, while the tuition fee is only 1/8 compared to studying directly in the US. If students want to switch to a study abroad transfer path during their studies in Vietnam, they can still flexibly transfer.
The 2 + 2 study path is the most popular choice for KUV students. After completing the first 2 years at KUV, students will be recognized by Keiser University in the US and transfer to the last 2 years. Students can also choose to transfer to the main Keiser University in Florida or other universities across the US or other countries such as Australia, Canada, Switzerland, etc. In this case, students will receive a bachelor’s degree from the school in the US or the country they choose to transfer to. Students are encouraged to use their GPA in the first 2 years of study at KUV to apply for scholarships from partner schools in the US and other countries around the world.
The 1 + 3 pathway is suitable for students who wish to pursue special majors that are not offered in Vietnam (e.g., psychology, biotechnology, educational management, airport management, etc.). Accordingly, students will only study subjects in the General Education group (a group of general subjects that most majors at American universities will need to study), then transfer to study abroad early from Year 2. With this pathway, students will receive a transcript of the subjects they have completed from Keiser University in the US. In some cases, students will not enjoy the priority rights of American universities for transfer students.
The 3 + 1 pathway is suitable for students who wish to study most of the program at an affordable tuition fee in Vietnam but still have a final year of study in the US. With this pathway, students will be recognized by Keiser University in the US after completing the first 2 years and continue Year 3 (specialization phase) in Vietnam. Students will transfer to the main campus of Keiser University in the US to study Year 4 and receive a bachelor’s degree. Students also have the option to transfer to other universities across the US or other countries to study the remaining undergraduate subjects. Note: With this pathway, the transferability of Year 3 credits will be less flexible when transferring to other universities outside of Keiser University in the US because this stage belongs to the specialized subject group.
Students who want to study in Switzerland with affordable tuition fees can choose this route. Accordingly, the program will have 2 years of study at KUV with a tuition fee of ~168 million VND/year instead of CHF 40,000 – CHF 70,000/year. After completing the first 2 years of the program, students will study an additional year of major in Switzerland with a tuition fee of ~CHF 40,000 (tuition includes tuition, meals, visa and B-permit support, registration fee of CHF 1,000, health insurance, standard accommodation, airport pick-up fee, e-campus access, job introduction after graduation, and internship arrangement in Switzerland). Students will start a paid internship program in Switzerland, other European countries, or other regions (students’ choice) and receive 2 university degrees upon completion.
Students who want to study in Canada with affordable tuition fees can choose this route. Accordingly, students will study the first 2 years of the program at KUV with a tuition fee of ~168 million VND/year, then transfer to Canada to study for the remaining 2 years to receive a Canadian bachelor’s degree, while enjoying preferential policies of the Canadian government for current international students.
Training Time
The actual training time of the program depends on the credit accumulation progress of each student. The average study time for the general program is 1.5 years to 2 years, and the entire bachelor’s program is 3.5 years to 4 years. The time for students to complete the program and graduate may be shorter or longer depending on the number of credits students register for each semester. This study time does not include the time to study academic English if students need to supplement before entering the specialized stage.
The total study time must not exceed the training time prescribed by Keiser University, Florida State regulations, and Vietnamese Education Law regulations.
Tuition & Fees
Tuition
Tuition fees for Keiser University programs implemented in Vietnam will be officially announced at the beginning of the first semester of each academic year and are listed in Vietnamese Dong, calculated by credit unit. Normally, tuition fees will be fixed within the standard training time frame of the program, and there are almost no additional fees. The tuition fees announced in the table below are the tuition fees before applying any scholarship or tuition discount policies (if any). Students will pay tuition fees according to the actual number of credits (corresponding to the number of subjects) that students have registered for on the subject registration system at the beginning of each semester. Below is detailed tuition information, regulated and estimated based on levels:
(1) Tuition fees for Vietnamese students:
| Training level | Number of credits | Tuition/Credit | Total |
| YEAR 1 | 39 | 5.6 million VND | 168 – 218.4 million VND |
| YEAR 2 | 30 | 5.6 million VND | 168 million VND |
| YEAR 3 | 30 | 6.4 million VND | 192 million VND |
| YEAR 4 | 30 | 6.4 million VND | 192 million VND |
(2) Tuition for International Students:
| Training level | Number of credits | Tuition/Credit | Total |
| YEAR 1 | 39 | 6.4 million VND | 192 – 249.6 million VND |
| YEAR 2 | 30 | 6.4 million VND | 192 million VND |
| YEAR 3 | 30 | 6.4 million VND | 192 million VND |
| >YEAR 4 | 30 | 6.4 million VND | 192 million VND |
Fees
- Admission fee (paid once with first semester tuition): 7,450,000 VND.
- Exam fee & Keiser University student ID card opening fee (Class 2025-2026 100% sponsored by KUV): 4,000,000 VND.
- Keiser University Uniform: KUV sponsored, students receive uniform once at the beginning of the course.
- Compulsory health insurance: Students pay according to the Government’s regulations each year.
In case students are exempted from some subjects or are granted scholarships, the total tuition fee that students have to pay will also be reduced accordingly. Below are some common cases:
- Transfer students from a college or university in the US who have completed some courses at the associate or bachelor level (required programs must be accredited) may also be exempted from some of the corresponding courses they have taken if they match Keiser University’s training program.
- Students transferring from a college or university in another country who have completed a number of courses at the associate level (required by accredited programs) may need to have their transcripts evaluated by Silny, an independent reviewer, to determine the exact number of courses that match Keiser University’s curriculum. This review will incur an evaluation fee, typically $200 per transcript. Students can pay this fee directly to Silny or through KUV support.
Tuition fees for the Study Abroad period in the US
In fact, in addition to choosing to study the entire original American undergraduate program in Vietnam, students can also freely transfer to most universities in different states across the United States or choose universities in other countries such as Australia, Canada, Switzerland, etc. to continue studying the remaining stages of the undergraduate program. In this case, students will pay tuition according to the tuition fee announced by the university they choose to transfer to. Tuition fees at universities in the US and other countries are very diverse. This depends on the school classification (public or private), on the city or state, on the major that students choose, or on the tuition policy of each school for each different group of students… Tuition fees can range from $15,000 to $40,000/year. Normally, most students who complete the first two years in Vietnam will easily apply for scholarships or preferential tuition policies (for example, some schools in the US allow KUV students to pay tuition for in-state students or students who are US citizens but come from other states). The most common tuition waiver is 35% – 50% of the tuition announced by the schools.
