Teaching and Coaching Roles
- Guest Lecturer (2016): Taught students at The Faculty of Tourism Management at Hanoi University about politics and heritages in the Heritage Course.
- Coacher (2020): Provided coaching on fundraising-based communication skills for the association of the disabled in Hai Duong Province.
- Mentor and Coacher (2021 – now): Conducts personal classes and workshops focused on storytelling and digital literacy.
- Consent Educator (2023): Provided new students at Clark University with knowledge about consent.
- School Instruction: Taught classes about digital literacy and safety on social media at The Olympia Schools and led a group of 10 students in the school’s radio club.
Quality and Management Achievements
- Editorial Quality: At Kenh14 Online Newspaper, he was responsible for managing and controlling the quality of articles.
- Content Strategy: Developed the content strategy and content plan for the social platforms of The Olympia Schools.
- System Overhaul: Rebuilt the entire communication system and developed the communication strategy for 5 years for The iSEE Institute.
- Team Supervision: Supervised a team of 3 reporters and around 10 freelance collaborators while Head of the World News Section.

Mr. Duc’s achievements are highlighted by successful large-scale social advocacy campaigns, high-impact media performance, and scholarly work on digital communication.
Advocacy and Social Impact
- “Leave with Pride” Campaign: Successfully led communication activities for the social campaign that called for 80,000 signatures within a month. This campaign led to the official affirmation by WHO Vietnam (March 2022) and the Vietnam Ministry of Health (July 2022) that LGBT is not a disease, marking a first for Vietnam.
- Organizational Network: Built up a network of 100 journalists to support PR activities for The iSEE Institute.
- Social Media Growth: Maintained The iSEE Institute’s Facebook page as the most followed NGO Facebook page in Vietnam, achieving an increase of 20% of followers over 2 years.
Media and Writing Achievements
- Promotions and Awards (Kenh14): Recognized as the best staff of the year for 2 consecutive years (2016 and 2017). Promoted twice in two consecutive years (Head of LGBT section in 2016 and World News section in 2017).
- High-View Content: Authored or translated more than 2,000 articles in the world news section; some articles reached 500,000 – 1,000,000 views.
- Traffic Management: Maintained the traffic of the World News section in the top 3 of the entire newspaper.
- Publishing: Is a book translator of 8 books published in Vietnam. Co-author of 2 journal collections and a book. Works as a writer and localizer for Apple (iTunes and Apple Music in Vietnam).
- Recruitment Success: Achieved the 100% annual target of new students for The Olympia Schools through annual communication campaigns.

- Thesis Topic: Focused on “An examination of Neil Postman’s “Amusing Ourselves to Death” and its association with the dominance of short-form content on social media”. This thesis was presented at the Clark University Multidisciplinary Conference in March 2024.
- Published Research: Co-authored research with others titled, “Thanh thiếu niên dân tộc thiểu số và những rủi ro liên quan đến mua bán người trên mạng xã hội” (2021).
